Fernando sharing his aviation knowledge with young students beside an aircraft

Seattle, Washington

Curiosity is where every flight begins.

We introduce young people to aviation, guide their growth through hands-on learning, and give families a clear path forward.

Our mission

One person’s encouragement can change the direction of a young life. We carry Fernando’s legacy forward by opening doors for the next generation.

To inspire and educate young people through meaningful aviation experiences, mentorship, and career development—while equipping families to support the journey.

The Fernando FlightPath

Access is open. Advancement is earned.

Students begin with discovery, build real knowledge, and move forward by showing effort, curiosity, and consistent participation.

01

Discover

Open aviation days, aircraft tours, simulators, and STEM activities help every student find their spark.

02

Learn

An eight-part FlightPath curriculum builds knowledge in flight, weather, navigation, safety, and careers.

03

Advance

Students who demonstrate commitment can earn access to mentorship, discovery flights, camps, and scholarships.

Eight-week curriculum

Knowledge that turns wonder into direction.

FlightPath gives students a practical foundation in aviation. No prior experience is required—only curiosity, effort, and a willingness to learn.

Student commitment

We measure effort, not privilege.

Advanced opportunities are earned through participation. A student’s family income, previous flight experience, and ability to purchase training are never measures of interest.

Initiative beyond class

Students generally attend at least 80% of sessions. Make-up work, reasonable accommodations, and a path to reapply ensure that one setback never permanently closes the door.

For families

A clearer path for parents, too.

We help families understand training routes, costs, scholarships, FAA requirements, college options, and how to recognize reputable programs.

Parent participation is encouraged, but a child is never unfairly penalized when work, transportation, language, or family circumstances get in the way.

Fernando’s legacy

One person’s support can change a life.

Fernando’s encouragement, guidance, and belief helped create opportunities for his family. This foundation carries those values forward by opening the world of aviation to young people.

One legacy. Thousands of possibilities.
